Hi and welcome to my page. I am Claire, an author, meditation teacher and coach.
I live in Australia with my young daughter, surrounded by bushland, at the foot of the world heritage Blue Mountains.
During my childhood, I often immersed myself in daydreams of distant lands, engrossed in books and crafting heartfelt love poems. I have always written and spoken from the heart.
Today, I derive happiness from genuine connections with others and the world around me and this has led me to create Conscious Connection Cards. A deck of affirmations and activities, aimed at nurturing connections among children, families and communities, reflecting my commitment to fostering deeper connections.
My first children’s book, A Walrus-Sized Love, which debuts in 2025, exemplifies how interpersonal ties can cultivate happiness.

A Walrus-Sized Love (Coming 2025)
A children's picture book.
Wriggly’s heart once looked like a grand palace, full of love, laughter and dazzling music. But, since separating from his huddle, it has been silent and empty and resembles a broken-down shack. That is until he meets Peep. Through play and mishaps, Wriggly’s heart begins to repair. His heart comes alive once more as the colours of the rainbow replace the dirty white walls, while electricity pulses through it. His heart is now alive, radiant and full of light due to his newfound companionship with Peep.
